Capital Reef National Park
Capital Reef is a National Park with a very old history. The Fremont Native Americans settled in the northern section along the Fremont River around 1,000 AD. The Mormon's later arrived in the 1880's and planted orchids and farmed the rich lands around the current National Park Visitor's Center. Photo © copyright by Gordon Reichard.
