Old Mountain Ute Tribe Visitor's Center

The Ute Mountain Ute Tribe used to have their visitor's center near the location I took this photo. It is a beautiful building that has the architecture of Chaco Canyon. The region to the southeast of Chimney Rock is very archaeologically rich area full of Mesa Verde type ruins. One must have permission and a guide to access these ruins but it is well worth the time.
